Youth Writes a New Chapter, Together We Embark on a New Journey
With ambition to shoulder responsibilities and pursue dreams across the world, the 2025 Graduation Ceremony & Degree Conferral Ceremony of CUFE Business School was grandly held in Lecture Hall 206 of the Academic Hall on the morning of June 21, 2025.
Attendees of the ceremony included:

The ceremony was hosted by Yang Zhongying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of CUFE Business School.
Speech by Dean Lin Song (Dean of CUFE Business School & Director of the MBA Education Center)
The ceremony officially kicked off with the solemn national anthem. Professor Lin Song, Dean of CUFE Business School & Director of the MBA Education Center, delivered a speech, expressing sincere expectations and blessings to the graduates. He reviewed the school’s achievements in teaching, scientific research and talent cultivation over the past few years, and fully affirmed the capabilities and demeanor of the business school students.
Dean Lin put forward three earnest expectations for the graduates:
Apply what you have learned: Truly put management theories into practice in your work;Dare to strive: Explore and innovate in a broader field, and become pioneers leading the era of change;Care for the world: Use business power to solve social problems, promote social development, and bravely take on the responsibilities of the times.
In closing, Dean Lin affectionately urged the graduates to "come back to the Business School often" and sincerely wished them a future full of infinite possibilities and a brilliant journey ahead.

In the session of announcing graduation and degree conferral decisions. Gu Leilei (Director of the Undergraduate Program of the Business School) announced the list of 2025 undergraduate graduates and their degree conferral. Li Wei (Vice President of the Business School Alumni Chapter) and Chen Haoqiang (Secretary-General) presented appointment letters to the 2025 Alumni Directors of the Business School Chapter of CUFE Alumni Association.Feng Daren (President of the MBA Alumni Chapter) and Qiu Yingfei (Secretary-General) presented appointment letters to the 2025 Alumni Directors of the MBA Chapter of CUFE Alumni Association.On behalf of their respective alumni chapters, Li Wei and Feng Daren extended blessings and welcome to the new alumni, and expressed their expectation that the new alumni would actively serve as a bridge between their alma mater and fellow alumni.
Four graduate representatives took the stage in turn to share their growth experiences and reflections during their studies at CUFE, as well as their aspirations for the future:
Looking back on her four-year academic journey, Liu Tiemulun noted that the graduates’ growth had been closely aligned with the school’s development, and they had constantly adjusted their life directions in the context of the times. She initiated that CUFE graduates should take the school motto "Loyalty, Unity, Pragmatism, Innovation" as their spiritual guide and forge ahead in the tide of the times. Finally, she extended sincere blessings to the Business School, all teachers and fellow graduates.
Liu Tiemulun (Undergraduate Graduate Representative)
Yang Jinjing reflected that every step of her journey had honed her will and improved her abilities, and it was countless attempts and failures that had shaped who she was today. She stated that in the future, she would take CUFE’s motto "Loyalty, Unity, Pragmatism, Innovation" as her maxim, and wished all CUFE dream-chasers "meet again in the journey of life and have a promising future".
Yang Jinjing (Academic Master’s Graduate Representative)
Meng Qingwei reviewed his two-year MBA journey: he had gained wisdom in weekend classes, broadened his horizons through research and practice, honed his will in sports events, and collaborated with peers in academic and practical competitions. He also expressed his deep love for the MBA student union work and his commitment to upholding and inheriting CUFE’s MBA education brand. He wished everyone "cherish the longing for the stars and the sea, and march fearlessly into the next journey".
Meng Qingwei (MBA Graduate Representative)
Jiang Fubin first congratulated her fellow doctoral graduates on finally answering the "soul question" of "when will you graduate". She emphasized that the journey had brought her not only knowledge, but also the scientific spirit of daring to question, innovate continuously and persevere. Quoting her supervisor’s words—"A rigorous attitude makes one invincible; a scientific method makes one unstoppable"—she urged everyone to be guided by the school motto in whatever career they pursued, and create greater value for society with down-to-earth actions and innovative thinking. She concluded with wishes for everyone’s "bright future, boundless prospects, and unwavering perseverance in pursuing their original aspirations".
Jiang Fubin (Doctoral Graduate Representative)
As a faculty representative, Teacher Ji Yueting quoted the "Great Compression Theory", pointing out that in the current era, the formula for personal value had changed: what determined personal value might no longer be the depth of a single skill, but the ability to master diversity. She hoped that after graduation, the students would broaden their horizons, master diverse skills, and become "super individuals" with infinite possibilities driven by curiosity.In addition, she believed that the true pursuit of life should be a simple and happy life. Quoting the phrase "Never enter a room without being heard", she encouraged female students to express themselves confidently and bravely in any situation, and create a wonderful life of their own.
Speech by Faculty Representative Ji Yueting (Teacher of the Department of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management)
Zhang Quanxi used the famous saying "When I was young, I didn’t understand the meaning of the song; now I understand it when I hear it again" to explain the characteristics of CUFE graduates shaped by subtle influences. He put forward four expectations for the graduates. Move forward steadily and live up to your youth. Be as firm as a rock and take on responsibilities with practical actions. Be cautious in thinking and distinguish truth from confusion. Remain true to your original aspiration and keep your sincerity. He concluded by wishing all graduates a brilliant future and a reunion at the "peak of life".
Zhang Quanxi (2009 Undergraduate Alumna of Human Resource Management)
Li Yan shared advice with the graduates from the perspectives of values, learning, work and life. Adhere to positive values and stay true to your original aspiration. Maintain the habit of lifelong learning—"Graduation has an end, but the journey of learning has no boundary". Face setbacks and challenges in your career bravely, and believe that "you will overcome thorns and see rainbows after storms".
Li Yan (2011 MBA Alumna)
Li Yuexin, Secretary of the Party Committee of CUFE Business School, expressed emotion at the passage of time and witnessed the graduates’ transformation from youth to maturity. With simple yet profound words, he shared a 12-character life motto focusing on "how to be a person" and "how to do things". On being a person: Be sincere and kind, respect others, and be tolerant and generous. On doing things: Not only fulfill your responsibilities, but also do your best with enthusiasm; moreover, clarify your direction and stand firm in your stance.Finally, he wished the graduates "stay focused on your direction, abide by the principles of being a person, uphold the principles of doing things, stay on the right path, and shine brightly".
Message from Secretary Li Yuexin (Secretary of the Party Committee of CUFE Business School)
Representatives of the graduates took the stage to lead the oath, and all graduates made a solemn pledge.
In the degree conferral session, graduates stepped onto the stage one by one. Members of the Academic Degree Evaluation Sub-Committee of the Business School—Lin Song, Miao Yuexin, Wang Yi, Wang Zhen, Yan Nina, Yang Changhan—awarded graduation certificates to the graduates, adjusted their academic tassels (a symbol of degree conferral), and conferred degrees on them. The graduation ceremony and degree conferral ceremony concluded in laughter and applause.
Before the ceremony, students staged a series of wonderful performances, including dances La Vie en Rose, Caiwei and Sending to the Moon, as well as songs To My Friends, Twelve Flower Deities: Blossoms at CUFE and A Song for Graduation. The audience responded with enthusiastic applause, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.
With youth as a pen, write your ideals across mountains and rivers; use knowledge and responsibility to forge Chinese strength, and make every step of your journey a source of pride for your alma mater. CUFE will always be a harbor for your voyage—offering warmth when storms come, and cheering for you when you shine.
May the 2025 graduates of CUFE Business School carry the spirit of "loyalty and unity" and hold the aspiration of "pragmatism and innovation". Set sail in the tide of the times, ride the wind and waves, and embark on a brilliant new journey belonging to all CUFEers!
